In order to obtain multi-wavelength short pulse source with high-repetition frequency
supercontinuum (SC) spectrum generation in dispersion-shifted fiber (DSF) was experimentally investigated. In use of actively mode-locked Er-doped fiber laser as pump
supercontinuum with 40 nm width was obtained. And the experiment also demonstrated that the stability and power of the pump pulse are important factors for supercontinuum generation.
