The phenomenon of increasing T g is mainly contributed to transformation of [TeO 3 ] and [TeO 3+1 ] to [TeO 4 ] units. And the structure changes result in highly dense glass network structure which is supported by Raman spectroscopy and XPS charactreizations. Based on results of absorption spectrum and optical band gap equation calculation, when Ta 2 O 5 increases from 0 to 8%, the optical band gap and Urbach energy of such glass samples show decresing trends. The third-order nonlinear optical properties of TBT glass demonstrate positive correlation with concentration of Ta 2 O 5 through Z- scan measurement. The TBT glass with 8% Ta 2 O 5 has 3.30×10 -20 m 2 ·V -2 (2.36×10 -12 esu) of third-order nonlinear susceptibility. Thus, the outstanding properties of TBT glasses pave a way of nonlinear optical applications. 碲酸盐玻璃 氧化钽 非线性光学 tellurite glass tantalum oxide nonlinear optics 引言 1 随着光通信技术的不断发展，开发新型光开关、光转换器、光存储器、半导体激光器以及超连续光源等光电子器件的需求日益迫切。研发具有良好非线性光学性能的材料是这些器件开发的关键 [ 1 1 ] 。在碲酸盐玻璃网络结构中，三种结构单元［TeO 4 ］、［TeO 3+1 ］和［TeO 3 ］均存在一对孤对电子(LPE)，占据结构中一个O 2- 的位置，助力实现碲酸盐玻璃网络的连续化和电荷平衡 [ 2 2 - 3 3 2-3 ] 。多样化的内部基团结构可以为各种其他阳离子在碲酸盐玻璃中提供丰富的结构位点和电偶极环境，有利于产生非均匀的宽化光谱，为光通讯用光电子器件提供了优异的基质材料 [ 4 4 ] 。同时，孤电子对存在于各结构单元使得Te 4+ 具有较大的离子半径和极化性质，介电常数与离子半径成正比，材料的折射率又正比于介电常数，因此碲酸盐玻璃通常具备较大的折射率和非线性光学系数 [ 5 5 ] 。同时，碲酸盐玻璃还具有较高的高红外透射率和良好的热稳定性，这些特点使它们在非线性光学玻璃材料研究中备受关注 [ 6 6 - 7 7 6-7 ] 。 对TeO 2 基玻璃三阶非线性光学性能的研究一直在持续进行中。早在1997年，Sababde等 [ 8 8 ] 通过比较特征晶体和两种体系的碲酸盐玻璃TeO 2 -BaO和 TeO 2 -TiO 2 -BaO的拉曼光谱，发现加入BaO的碲酸盐玻璃体系中，TiO 2 的引入能够抑制玻璃中Te-O-Te 结构的解体，维持玻璃良好的非线性性能。根据米勒规则，获得高折射率玻璃的方法是向玻璃中添加具有高折射率的玻璃网络修饰体或是引入极化率大的重金属氧化物 [ 9 9 ] 。Bi 2 O 3 是一种具有高折射率的修饰体，Bi 2 O 3 的添加能够改善TeO 2 基玻璃的三阶非线性性能，Saddeek等 [ 10 10 ] 对TeO 2 -B 2 O 3 -Bi 2 O 3 玻璃体系进行了研究，发现Bi 2 O 3 的增加使得［TeO 3 ］转化为［TeO 4 ］,［BO 3 ］变成［BO 4 ］，桥氧增加，密度升高，摩尔体积降低。此外，在TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 体系中添加极化率大的重金属氧化物，如Ti 4+[ 6 6 ] 、Nb 5+[ 11 11 ] 、 W 6+[ 12 12 ] ，都已有研究证明能提高玻璃体系的三阶非线性。 Ta 2 O 5 作为重金属氧化物的一种，价态较高，且含有参与成键的空 d 轨道，能与玻璃中的O 2- 离子形成具有较大极化率的基团 [ 13 13 ] ，使玻璃具有很好的化学稳定性、热稳定性和电学性质 [ 14 14 ] 。Kilic等 [ 15 15 ] 探究了Ta 2 O 5 的增加对Bi 2 O 3 -TeO 2 -ZnO体系玻璃的结构和辐射屏蔽效果的影响。Yakine等 [ 16 16 ] 对Te-Bi-Ta玻璃体系的相图、析晶性能进行研究，发现在Bi 2 O 3 含量约为10%时，Te-Bi-Ta玻璃成玻范围最广。本文选定Bi 2 O 3 含量为10%的组成系列制备了(90- x )TeO 2 -10Bi 2 O 3 - x Ta 2 O 5 系列碲酸盐玻璃，探究了Ta 2 O 5 添加量对Te-Bi玻璃体系的结构以及三阶非线性光学性质的影响。 实验 1 样品制备 2 根据前期实验研究结果分析，当Bi 2 O 3 含量为10%时，成玻范围较广，且Ta 2 O 5 掺杂量大于8%时，不容易成玻。因此，选定Bi 2 O 3 含量为10%的组成制备了(90- x )TeO 2 -10Bi 2 O 3 - x Ta 2 O 5 ( x =0,2%,4%,6%,8%)系列碲酸盐玻璃，分别表示为TBT0、TBT1、TBT2、TBT3、TBT4。首先按照化学计量比准确称量TeO 2 (国药集团试剂有限公司，A.R.)、Bi 2 O 3 (国药集团试剂有限公司，A.R.)、Ta 2 O 5 (凌峰化学试剂有限公司，A.R.)，移至玛瑙研钵中研磨至均匀混合后装入带盖的刚玉坩埚中。待硅碳炉温度达到950 ℃，放入样品保温熔制30 min后浇注在预热好的铜板上，冷却成型的样品被快速放入马弗炉中进行退火处理。将部分玻璃样品在研钵中研磨并取过200 目的玻璃粉用于测试。后续用金刚石切割机将玻璃块体切成1 cm×1 cm×1 mm的薄片并双面抛光再测试其光学性能。 样品表征 2 采用阿基米德排水法测量碲酸盐玻璃的密度，多次测量取其平均值以减小实验误差。密度计算公式如下所示： http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657147&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657149&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657152&type= 其中 ρ 为玻璃样品的密度， m 1 为玻璃样品在空气中的质量， m 2 为玻璃样品浸泡在水中的质量， ρ water 为水的密度。 玻璃的摩尔体积能够很好地反映出玻璃的结构变化。玻璃的摩尔体积( V m )由以下公式计算 [ 17 17 ] : http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657156&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657160&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657164&type= 其中 x i 是组成氧化物的摩尔分数， M i 是氧化物的分子量。 折射率的数据是用布鲁斯特角方法采用美国 Metricon 公司的Model 2010棱镜耦合仪进行测量的。玻璃的热力学性能采用差示扫描量热法(DSC)进行分析，实验数据由TA公司生产的SDT-2960型DSC仪器在N 2 气氛下、以10 K/min的升温速率从室温升温至600 ℃进行测试获得。玻璃中的分子振动与激发光互相作用造成的非弹性散射可以通过拉曼光谱测定。拉曼光谱数据的测试在常温下使用100 mW的氩离子激光器532 nm为激励源，以共焦100物镜进行。光谱仪的分辨率≤1 cm -1 。 Z 扫描测试采用1 030 nm、220 fs、重复频率为30 kHz的脉冲激光为泵浦光。用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)分析了TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 -Ta 2 O 5 玻璃中O 1s的结合能变化。XPS数据的测试使用了激发源为Al Kα射线( hν =1 486.6 eV)的Thermo Scientific K-Alpha分析仪，激发功率为18 kW。 结果与讨论 1 玻璃的密度与折射率 2 表1 表1 是玻璃组成为(90- x )TeO 2 -10Bi 2 O 3 - 22 22 21-22 ] 。如 表1 表1 所示，玻璃中的OPD逐渐增加，表明随着Ta 2 O 5 含量的增加TBT玻璃的网络结构更加紧密。通常情况下，玻璃的密度与摩尔体积成反比，但在本研究中，密度与摩尔体积随着钽含量的增加而增大。这可归因于Ta 2 O 5 比其他玻璃成分氧化物(TeO 2 和Bi 2 O 3 )具有更高的密度、原子半径和原子质量。此外，由上述结论可知，随着Ta 2 O 5 含量增加，拓开了网络结构，但是氧化物网络交联程度增加，玻璃的密度增加。在其他掺杂重金属氧化物玻璃碲酸盐玻璃的研究中也有类似的现象 [ 20 20 , 23 23 ] 。 玻璃的非线性性能研究与基质玻璃的线性折射率和非线性折射率密切相关。摩尔折射度 R m 能够反映TeO 2 玻璃中电子云变形能力的大小，与TeO 2 玻璃的线性折射率大小有关，可由Lorentz-Lorentz 公式得到 [ 20 20 ] : http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657175&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657183&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657191&type= 其中， n 为线性折射率， M 代表摩尔质量， ρ 为玻璃样品密度。 http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657193&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657197&type= http://html.publish.founderss.cn/rc-pub/api/common/picture?pictureId=25657201&type= 其中， N 为每摩尔可极化的离子数。 图1(a) 图1(a) 是TBT0~TBT4玻璃样品的线性折射率和摩尔折射度随Ta 2 O 5 含量的变化图。 图1(b) 图1(b) 是TBT系列玻璃样品的摩尔极化率随Ta 2 O 5 含量的变化图。从图中可以看出，随着Ta 2 O 5 含量增加，玻璃的线性折射率和摩尔折射度增加。另外，由公式(5)计算出的摩尔电子极化率 α m 也与摩尔折射度 R m 成正比增长。 材料的摩尔折射度和O 2- 有关，玻璃中，与O 2- 相邻的阳离子半径增加能使该阳离子的对称性和离子折射发生改变 [ 24 24 ] ，使O 2- 周围的电场强度增加，提高玻璃的摩尔折射度。Ta 2 O 5 含量的增加使得玻璃网络结构中阳离子的离子折射度和对称性改变，增加了玻璃中O 2- 离子周围的电场强度。因此，随着Ta 2 O 5 含量的增加，TBT玻璃的摩尔折射度增加，电子极化率增加，线性折射率增加。 由上述结论可知，随着Ta 2 O 5 含量的增加，玻璃的折射率和密度的变化有着相似的变化规律，呈 线性增加趋势。一方面，折射率的增加主要由密度的增加引起，密度越大，玻璃中的光波传播速度越慢，因此TeO 2 玻璃的折射率也越高；另一方面，则主要是因为Ta 5+ 具有较高的极化率，使得Ta 2 O 5 的含量越高，玻璃的线性折射率越高。 玻璃的结构分析 2 为了研究TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 -Ta 2 O 5 碲酸盐玻璃基质的结构，对碲酸盐玻璃进行了拉曼光谱测试，如 图2 图2 所示。测试的范围是200~1 200 cm -1 。该样品的拉曼光谱显示了波数区域内的三个峰值A、B、C，分别位于 405,650,755 cm -1 附近，不同的峰值对应于不同的振动频带，不同的振动频带又对应于不同结构基团的振动。300~540 cm -1 低频带对应于Te—O—Te的弯曲振动，550~690 cm -1 中频带为TeO 4 基团中的伸缩振动，700~850 cm -1 高频带为TeO 3 /TeO 3+1 基团中的伸缩振动 [ 25 25 - 26 26 25-26 ] 。 从 表2 表2 中可以明显看出，［TeO 3 ］/［TeO 4 ］相对强度明显降低，即随着Ta 2 O 5 的加入，所提供 O 2- 使［TeO 3 ］和中间的过渡结构［TeO 3+1 ］ 三角锥体逐渐转变为［TeO 4 ］ 三角双锥体，桥接氧(BO)增加 [ 27 27 ] 。且玻璃密度、电子极化率、折射率的增加表明，Ta 5+ 也对玻璃的结构产生影响。一方面随着Ta 2 O 5 量增多，［TaO 6 ］八面体增加可能使得Te—O—Ta生成，加强玻璃网络结构，因此玻璃的密度、折射率和玻璃的转变温度逐渐升高 [ 28 28 ] 。另一方面，由于Ta 5+ 离子的电负性较大，离子场强大，可将多个Te—O结构单元束缚在玻璃中的Ta 5+ 离子附近，使玻璃网络结构更加致密，玻璃的 T g 增大，密度与折射率增加。 1 1 样品 1 1   1 1 Te—O in ［TeO 4 ］伸缩振动 1 1 Te—O in ［TeO 3 ］/［TeO 3+1 ］伸缩振动 1 1 TeO 3 /TeO 4 1 1 TBT0 1 1 C /cm -1 1 1 644 1 1 740 1 2 1.50 1 1   1 1 A 1 1 25.47 1 1 38.26 1 1 TBT1 1 1 C /cm -1 1 1 645 1 1 743 1 2 1.21 1 1   1 1 A 1 1 30.15 1 1 36.35 1 1 TBT2 1 1 C /cm -1 1 1 645 1 1 745 1 2 1.10 1 1   1 1 A 1 1 33.06 1 1 36.47 1 1 TBT3 1 1 C /cm -1 1 1 646 1 1 747 1 2 1.05 1 1   1 1 A 1 1 33.12 1 1 34.62 1 1 TBT4 1 1 C /cm -1 1 1 646 1 1 748 1 2 0.99 1 1   1 1 A 1 1 33.48 1 1 33.08 XPS光谱拟合和分析 2 XPS测量被用来阐明TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 -Ta 2 O 5 三元玻璃中桥氧和非桥氧的相互变化。对每个样品记录了0~1 200 eV结合能区域的相对低分辨率X射线光电子测量扫描。收集了不同Ta 2 O 5 含量的TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 -Ta 2 O 5 三元玻璃的O 1s轨道的高分辨率光谱。在大多数氧化玻璃的XPS研究中，O 1s光谱比阳离子光谱更能反映玻璃的结构。具体地说，O 1s电子的结合能是电子定位于氧或核间区域的程度的量度，这是氧和不同阳离子之间成键性质的直接结果。 图3 图3 显示了TBT0~TBT4对应的O 1s轨道的高分辨率光谱。 所有样品的O 1s光谱都有轻微的不对称性，表明有两个不同的氧位点的贡献：BO和非桥接氧(NBO)。BO贡献的峰值位于(530~530.5 eV)，而NBO贡献的峰值位于(531.5~532 eV)，与SiO 2 和TeO 2 基玻璃的报告值相似 [ 29 29 - 39 39 37-39 ] 。 结论 1 本文制备了(90- x )TeO 2 -10Bi 2 O 3 - x Ta 2 O 5 ( x =0,2%,4%,6%,8%)TBT玻璃样品，研究了其物理、光学性质，并利用 Z 扫描技术研究了TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 -Ta 2 O 5 玻璃的三阶非线性性能。拉曼和XPS测试表明，随着Ta 2 O 5 含量的增加，玻璃结构从［TeO 3 ］逐渐由过渡态［TeO 3+1 ］转变为［TeO 4 ］，从而使得玻璃网络结构更加致密。这一结果也印证了热分析测试中TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 -Ta 2 O 5 玻璃的玻璃化转变温度 T g 随着Ta 2 O 5 含量的增加不断升高。此外，Ta 5+ 具有高的极化率，因此随着Ta 2 O 5 含量的增加，TeO 2 -Bi 2 O 3 -Ta 2 O 5 玻璃的摩尔折射度、电子极化率和线性折射率也随之增加。吸收光谱和光学带隙方程计算结果表明，当Ta 2 O 5 从0增加到8%时，该玻璃样品的光学带隙和乌尔巴赫能呈减小趋势。 Z 扫描结果表明，TBT玻璃的三阶非线性光学性质与Ta 2 O 5 浓度呈正相关。当Ta 2 O 5 浓度为8%时，TBT玻璃具有3.30×10 -20 m 2 ·V -2 (2.36×10 -12 esu)的三级非线性磁化率，这表明该组成的TBT玻璃在非线性光学领域具备潜在的应用价值。此外，TBT玻璃的组成-结构-性能规律为其在非线性光学领域的应用提供了理论基础。 本文专家审稿意见及作者回复内容的下载地址：http://cjl.lightpublishing.cn/thesisDetails#10.37188/CJL.20210382. 参考文献： TAN Z W , LU C .
