“In the realm of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), a significant breakthrough has been achieved by employing a platinum complex as a sensitizer and multi-resonant thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) molecules as emitters. This innovation has led to the development of highly efficient, high color purity OLEDs that can be processed using solutions, thereby addressing the issue of high production costs associated with the vacuum deposition process. The research has successfully demonstrated an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 13.2% with a minimal efficiency roll-off of 25.8% at 1,000 cd/m², and further optimization has pushed the maximum EQE to 13.6%. This work paves a new path for the advancement of high-performance, solution-processed electroluminescent devices.”
