upconversion nanoparticles were prepared in ionic liquid. The obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD)
scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
and luminescence spectra. The morphology and crystal structure could be well controlled by adjusting the fluoride concentration. Based on the experimental date
the high fluoride concentration was in favor of the formation of hexagonal phase. The products could be dissolved in water and the solution exhibit bright green luminescence under the excitation of 980 nm laser.
