用高温熔融法
把Eu
2
O
3
掺入到P
2
O
5
-BaO-Na
2
O-K
2
O与Na
2
O-TeO
2
-ZnO系统玻璃中。测定了玻璃的荧光光谱与激发光谱。结果表明
Eu离子在P
2
O
5
-BaO-Na
2
O-K
2
O玻璃中呈现出Eu
3+
态。然而在Na
2
O-TeO
2
-ZnO系统玻璃中
尽管在空气气氛下
大部分的Eu离子在玻璃中以二价的状态存在。从玻璃的结构及化学组分解释了产生Eu
2+
的原因。在磷酸盐玻璃配料中加入适量的硅粉(Si)作还原剂
能有效地把玻璃中的极大部分Eu
3+
还原成Eu
2+
获得含Eu
2+
的优质透明磷酸盐玻璃。
The preparations and optical spectra of Eu
2+
ions doped-glass have been attracted much attentions due to their applications in optical devices such as Faraday rotators
lasers
high dense light storage and so on. In order to obtain more Eu
2+
ions
many complex preparations have been done
for example under strong reductive atmosphere and so on. It is necessary to explore easy and simple method that can obtain glasses with high concentration of Eu
2+
. In the present paper
under air atmosphere Eu
2
O
3
incorporated P
2
O
5
-BaO-Na
2
O-K
2
O glasses and Na
2
O-TeO
2
-ZnO glasses were prepared by melting at 1200℃. The emission spectra of Eu ions in the glasses were measured at room temperature. The structural and compositional effects on the valence-state of Eu ions were discussed. The results indicated that the Eu ions in the phosphate glass exist in the state of trivalent. However
some of the Eu ions in the Na
2
O-TeO
2
-ZnO glasses were divalent
although the glasses were prepared under air atmosphere. The Eu
3+
ions could be effectively reduced to Eu
2+
ions by the reductive action of silicon powder. Since the network of the tellurate glasses easily distorted and zinc oxide presented
Eu ions replaced the sites of the Zn
2+
ions and the Eu
2+
ions exist steadily in the glasses. The tellurate glasses containing overall Eu
2+
ions with good optical property can be prepared by the proper melting processing and addition of silicon quantity.
