The time-dependence of nonlinear optical absorption in ZnSe-ZnS MQW s has been measured by using pump-probe technique at femtosecond scale at 77K.It appears that the nonlinear response in ZnSe-ZnS MQW s is about 10ps and the turn off time is about 14ps at 77K.The mechanism of nonlinear optical absorption is due to band filling of excitonic states.
