luminescence spectra of two different sites have been obtained by the selectively excited

D
0
levels of the complex which indicates that Eu(Ⅲ) ions in the complex have two unequally chemical environments.Bands of antisymmetric and symmetric streching vibrations in the carboxylate anion are significantly split and broad in the Raman spectrum of the complex
which show more than one coordination modes for the carboxylate group in the complex.This is in agreement with crystal structure determination of the complex.
