      摘要:The problem of energy transfer between Mn and rare earths in electroluminescence is firstly studied. The EL of ZnS:Mn, Er thin films doped simultaneously with Mn and Er is excited by a pulsed electric field,and the decay constants of Mn emission are found dependent on Er dopant concentration.It proves the energy transfer from Mn to Er. The coefficient and efficiency of the energy transfer are calculated.

    • BLUE ELECTROLUMINESCENCE IN REVERSE BIASED Zns:(Zn,Al)DIODES

      摘要:Diodes fabricated from ZnS crystals annealed in molten zinc containing 2% aluminium have been found to yield bright blue electroluminescence under reverse bias. Comparision of the electroluminescence and cathodoluminescence spectra for two type diodes.E and C together with electron microprobe and measurements of their current-voltage characteristics and brightness-current relationship in electroluminescence lead to an explanation of the production of the blue electroluminescence which is dependenton an aluminium-rich regioniswhich provides Vzn-Al complex] as luminescencecentres and additional donors to give a low resistivity region.

    • FREE EXCITON EMISSION IN FORWARD-BRASED Cds MIS DIODES

      摘要:The radiative decay of free excitons with the emission of 0, 1 or 2LO phonons has been observed in electroluminescence in CdS diodes operated in forward bias at temperatures in the range 40-77K. The line shapes and temperature dependence of the 1LO and 2LO phonon assisted replicas are discussed in terms of the distribution of kinetic energy of the excitons with an effective temperature equal to that of the lattice.

      摘要:The formation conditions of the chlorophyll A hydrated dimer (Chlorophylla·H2O)2 are studied. Some samples are prepared. We have tested the formation of the dimer (Chla·2H2O)2 from room-temperature absorption spectra, fluorescence spectra and redox properties of the sample. The results of these experiments are in agreement with Fong's work.

      摘要:The effect of doping elements other than rare earths on the luminescent properties of La2O2S:Tb was investigated. Its brightness is enhanced by doping ⅡA group elements, but quenched by some heavy metals, such as Fe, Co, Ni and Cr. When their concentration is less than 0.1%, these impurities,excluding Fe,do not markedly change the colour and the decay time of La2O2S:Tb.

    • INVESTIGATION OF THE LUMINESCENT PROPERTES OF Eu3+ IN Y2O3-Ri2O3 SYSTEM

      摘要:In this peper the fluorescent spectra properties of Bi3+ and Eu3+in Y2O3-Bi2O3 system and the regularities of their variation are reported.The fluorescent spectraof Bi3+show an emission band at about 5100Å under 3300Å excitation. The emis-sion intensity enhances with the reduction of the Bi3+ content.Under 3500Å excitation. the Eu3+ in Y2O3-Bi2O3 system gives a brigher red emission and the fluorescent intensities at about 6110Å corresponding to 6D0-7F2 transition are stronger than that in Eu:Y2O3 system. In (Y1-X-0.143EuXBi0.142)2O3 phosphor, the fluorescent intensities of Eu3+ enhance and that of Bi3+ decreases with the increaes of the Eu3+ concentration. No Eu3+ concentration quenching is observed until x=0.20mol. These indicate that energy transfer from Bi3+ to Eu3+ occurs.

    • MOISTURE-RESISTANT PHOSPHOR AND X-RAY INTENSIFYING SCREEN

      摘要:Terbium-activated lanthanum oxybromide phosphor is a highly efficient X-ray luminescent material, but its chemical property is very unstable,particularly in a moisture containing atmosphere.In this paper, a new method of preparing moisture-resistant terdium-activated lanthanum oxybromide Phosphor and X-ray intensifying screen is provided:Firstly, a small quantity of water-unsolvable substance, such as aluminium Phosphate, aluminium sili-cate,aluminium hydroxide, zinc Phosphate or zinc silicate etc, is deposited on the surface of phosphor particles.Secondly,the Phosphor particles with appropriate quantity of anhydrous magnesium sulfate are mixed by ball mill, so that the Phosphor particles surrounded by anhydrous magnesium sulfate powder. The method of Xrray intensifying screen is the same as that of calcium tungstate screen.The Phorsphor, after immersion in water at 75℃ for 105 hours, showed no decrease in the emission in tensity, whereas the Phosphor started to hydrolyze after 20 minutes.The phosphor and the X-ray intensifying screen after storage at 45℃ and 100% hymi-dity for 260 days, also showed no decrease in the emission intentity,but the untreated phosphor and screen started to show a marked decreese in the emission intensity after about 10 days.

    • A NEW METHOD USED FOR SOLUTION EPITAXIAL GROWTH OF Ga1-xAlxAs

      摘要:A new method used for solution epitaxial of Ga1-xAlxAs is reported here.An epitaxial layer of 3-4μ at the top of the epitaxial surface with uniform x composition, even in increasing tendency along growth direction, is produced by controling cooling rate. The epitaxial surface is naturally perfect only with fewer defects and no machine-damage. It is possible to reduce the production costs and to raise the finished product rate greatly because the procedure is completed in a single epitaxial layer. The devices made by this method have total flux output of 3-6 mlum under 20 mA.The efficiency of this kind of device would further be increased.

      摘要:The performances of high speed and high radiance GaAs/GaAlAs DH LEDs used for Fiber optical communications are described.Their electrical bandwidth is higher than 60MHz and optical bandwidth is over 100MHz. The source radiance was measured to be 1017W/cm2·sr at 200mA. The output power at the pigtail of a fiber is more than 160μW with a draving current of 200mA (core diameter of fibers= 60μm and numerical aperture NA=0.2). We have analysed and discussed the factors affecting on both radiative output and the modulation capability, andthe trade-off was reasonably selected.

    • STUDY OF MOVING ADSORBENT PURIFICATION METHOD OF ZINC(CADMIUM) SULFATE

      摘要:The moving adsorbent purification method for removing 7 kinds of ion in ZnSO4 or CdSO4 solution was successfully used. The equipment is mainly made of 3 glass tubes. In the first tube, was placed a mixture of 10g activated char, 1g MnO2, a mix of 10g activated char,1g ZnO and 1g dimethylglypxime was in the second and of 10g activated char and lg NaBiO3 in the third.When the solution of ZnSO4or CdSO4 (conc, of ZnSO4 or CdSO4:6%, Ph=5.5-5.8) flows across the three tubes successively, Cu2+ Fe2+, Co2+, Ni2+,Pb2+,Mn2+ and Cr3+ ions in the original solution were adsorbed.This method of purification is very simple, and the final purified solution is stable.The method can be used also for purifing soluble salt solutions of alkali metals and alkali earth metals.
