Microcavity Lasing at 650 nm from Alq:DCJTI Film Under Optical Pumping
Organic microcavity structures were designed and fabricated with distributed Bragg reflector as the mirror and Alq:DCJTI host-guest doping system as the gain medium. The standing wave field within microcavity was simulated by using the transfer matrix method
and a suitable microcavity structure was determined. The lasing properties of the microcavity laser were studied by a UV pulse laser. The output wavelength of the microcavity laser is 650 nm. An obvious lasing behavior was observed with a threshold intensity of 110Wcm
-2
. FWHM was narrowed from 4.7 to 3.2nm before and after the threshold.
