摘要

采用高温熔融法制备了高Tb

离子含量的GeO

-B

-SiO

系统磁光玻璃

测试了其Verdet常数和发光性能

探究了玻璃的Faraday效应、发光性能及光学碱度。研究结果表明:Verdet常数和光学碱度均随着Tb

含量的增加而线性增大

当Tb

摩尔分数为70%时

Verdet常数达到-5 000 minT

-1

(632.8 nm)

所有磁光玻璃样品随Tb

含量变化均发出明亮的黄绿光。由于浓度猝灭效应

高Tb

含量缩短了Tb

离子间距

增强了交叉弛豫效应

降低了发光强度和荧光寿命。

Abstract

GeO

-B

-SiO

magneto-optical glasses with high Tb

content were prepared by high temperature melting technique. The effect of Tb

content on the Faraday effect

luminescent properties and optical basicity was studied. The results show that Verdet constant and optical basicity increase with the increasing of Tb

content. All samples emit bright greenish-yellow luminescence

and the glass has a higher Verdet constant of -5 000 minT

-1

at 632.8 nm when the mole fraction of Tb

is 70%. The distances among Tb

ions become shorter with the increasing of Tb

content due to the concentration quenching effect

therefore

the cross-relaxation effect is enhanced

and the effective luminous intensity and lifetime decrease.
