Preparation and Optical Properties of Red Emitting Phosphor CaSnO3 ∶ Eu3+ for White LED
was prepared by hydrothermal method. The sample was characte-rized by X-ray diffraction
field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and photoluminescence (PL). The experimental results indicate that this phosphor can be effectively excited by charge-transfer band (280 nm)
ultraviolet light 395 nm and blue light 465 nm. The wavelengths at 395 nm and 465 nm are nicely fitting with the emission wavelengths of widely applied ultraviolet or blue LED chips.
