Properties of Er3+/Yb3+ Co-doped Phosphate Glass-ceramics
co-doped phosphate glass-ceramics have been fabricated and characterized
the formation of Er(PO
3
)
3
and Yb(PO
3
)
3
nanocrystals were studied using X-ray diffraction. The intensity parameters
the spontaneous radiative transition probabilities
the branching ratios
and the radiative lifetimes of Er
3+
in glass ceramics were calculated based on the Judd-Ofelt theory.For Er
3+

transition
lifetime is 8.625 8 ms.Strength parameters are

.According to McCumber theory
we calculated the stimulated emission cross section

.We also studied the fluorescence properties of crystals
