STUDY ON CHANGES OF INTERFACE CHARACTERISTICS WITH ALLOYING TEMPERATURE IN AuBe/p-GaP SYSTEM
An important effect of alloying conditions on the surface and interface characteristics of M-S contact system has been discussed. The interface composition changes of AuBe/p-GaP contact system was analysed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)
the surface morphology was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The experimental results indicated that the interface react to M-S contact taken place. It s characteristics have been explained from the point of view of metallurgy. The dependence of interface reaction on alloying temperature was discussed.
