说明配合物中羧基同时存在多种配位方式

这与它的晶体结构测定结果一致.

Abstract

The title coordination compound Eu (o-MBA)

phen (o-MBA:o-methylbenzoate

phen:1

10-phenanthroline) fluoresces very intensely under ultraviolet or visible light.The high-resolution excitation and luminescence spectra were measured at 77 K.

luminescence spectra of two different sites have been obtained by the selectively excited

levels of the complex which indicates that Eu(Ⅲ) ions in the complex have two unequally chemical environments.Bands of antisymmetric and symmetric streching vibrations in the carboxylate anion are significantly split and broad in the Raman spectrum of the complex

which show more than one coordination modes for the carboxylate group in the complex.This is in agreement with crystal structure determination of the complex.
